Here's Why Bill Gates Spends Billions on U.S. Farmland!
Bill Gates Still Spends Billions On U.S. Farmland, Here's Why!
Did you know that Bill Gates owns more land than the entire city of New York? And get this, Jeff Bezos's land holdings are twice that amount, coming in at a whopping 420,000 acres. But the biggest landowner of them all in America is John Malone, who owns a staggering 2.2 million acres by himself, that's nearly the size of Puerto Rico!
So, what's the deal with the ultra-wealthy buying up all this farmland? What's behind Bill Gates' controversial land purchase in Nebraska? And what does all this mean for the agricultural industry? Let's dive in and explore these questions.
So you see, America is huge, but did you know that 100 of the richest and largest private landowners in the country own 1.86% of all the land available in the United States? Most of this land consists of forests, ranches, and farmland.
Land is becoming more valuable over time. Back in the mid-1990s, farmland was valued at less than $1,500 an acre when adjusted for inflation. By 2020, that value had more than doubled to $3,160 an acre.
However, not everyone is reaping the benefits of these rising farmland prices. While the value of land is going up, many small farmers and new buyers are finding it harder to get into the market. How? Let’s seek an answer to this.
Bill Gates and conspiracy theories seem to go hand in hand. The billionaire can't make a move without sparking wild speculations online. One of the more outlandish theories involves Gates's supposed obsession with U.S. agriculture, with some rumors suggesting he owns as much as 80 percent of all the farmland in the United States.

So, what is the Great Green Wall initiative? What benefi...

The real Bill years ago. As many others. It's not Bill that owns the land. It's someone else. Many of the Elites have been replaced. It's a normal. At first. It's the real person. Then. They get rid of them and replace them with someone they can control. It's threw out history.

Yes, and once again you emphasize that intelligence is not your strong point because there are other reasons behind it that you will never comprehend, because if you want to know what is really going on, you would have to understand the interests of certain structures in the prism of historical changes.

If American tax law is similar to the United Kingdom, then it would be because you do not pay tax on land (after the initial purchase) and your family does not pay Death Duty (tax) on the land when you die.

Having just binge watched all three series I cannot commend it highly enough, it is as funny as it is sad. I am truly shocked at the vindictiveness of the local council, sitting before them a golden opportunity to raise awareness of farming life but instead of assisting they did everything possible to use their authoritarian control to shut him down and punish him, along with all that would benefit from his endeavors. Hats off to you Jeremy for having such reserves of tenacity and eye for opportunity. And yes, your tractor is too big!

Its called corporate farming here in the US. They lower or rid subsidies to zero, and when the farmers are upside down, corporations sweep in grab all the farms and tell the farmer they can stay and work their previous land for a salary. Then the government raises the subsidies so that the corporations make the money and plant what is needed based on consumer needs for a higher profit outside the US because they can make more money exporting than selling domestic. They are doing the same thing to healthcare in the US right now. Independent physicians cant survive anymore because of lower reimbursement and higher wages and supplies so they sell out to corporations that get all the grants and government subsidies. Farmers know the bad deal and now healthcare providers are experiencing the shift. Only the government and corporate dealers make the money. Wiping out the middle class.
